Its purpose is to provide a repository for useful information about producing documents, such as yearbooks, for your post, county, or district. The goal of the historian is to document what the Legion group accomplishes at the level the historian is appointed to. The history should be easily retrieved and shared. The yearbook documents the officers and their accomplishments during their terms of office.
This goal is achieved by producing a factual, accurate and readable yearbook, whether printed or digital. The yearbook is a great reference and should be shown to prospective members of a post, for example, to assist them in making their decision to join.
